The Holinger carpentry workshop is a traditional St. Moritz business in its second generation. Since 1952 we produce high quality woodwork according to your wishes. In addition to the well-known Arvenholz furniture, we are passionate about interior fittings made of old wood, the restoration of antiques and our framing studio.

Our family business, with over 60 years of experience, specializes in sophisticated interior design, renovations and remodeling, as well as the production of custom-made unique pieces for living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens and bathrooms.

In addition to the carpenter's workshop, the Holinger carpenter's workshop also includes our showroom in St. Moritz Bad. With a well-rehearsed team of 10 employees, we design your individual home according to your wishes in the highest quality and with attention to detail.

In our exhibition rooms we give various artists the opportunity to present their works.

The spicy fragrant wood of the Swiss stone pine

The Swiss stone pine, the coniferous tree known as Swiss stone pine in Germany and Austria, grows on the upper forest edges of alpine mountain slopes. Its rapid growth slows only after a few years. Swiss stone pines can live up to 300 years. The pale, light wood of the Swiss stone pine is easy to carve and the dark circles of branches are a popular decorative element.
Local Engadine farmers have always liked to use Swiss stone pine wood - to this day it remains one of the most popular Engadine building materials.
