If in the beginning the restoration of antique furniture was in the foreground, over the years the business activity has greatly expanded. Today it includes the following lines of business:

Engadine and Grisons furniture

Still our core competence. Be it in the trade, in the restoration or in the preparation of expertises. One of the proven oldest pieces finds its origin in the 15th century, but mainly we carry furniture from the 17th to the 19th century. In order to become a connoisseur of the respective craft, the study of folk art in general is indispensable.

Alpine folk art

Antiques reflect the cultural epochs of the time and places and lead the lover and connoisseur to folk art. These times were characterized by handicrafts made of copper, tin, iron, brass and bronze, in addition to the material wood. What complements an Engadine box table better than a Grisons prism pewter pot. This explains our 2nd mainstay of tools, tableware, jewelry and everyday consumer goods from this period.

Swiss art

Paintings of the classical painting, graphics and historical photographs mainly from Switzerland/Graubünden complete the offer in our store.

Conversions and renovations

Our passion is the restoration and care of objects from bygone times. This includes the wonderful woodwork in the classic Engadine houses. Since 2002, in collaboration with Lain e Lö, Antike Engadiner Holzbaukunst, Pontresina, (extensions & restorations with antique and old wood) , we have been carrying out expert restorations of old Engadine woodwork or interior fittings.
