I, Simon Deck, federally certified master craftsman, run the wood workshop. I can look back on decades of experience in carpentry and custom work. For a long time I was employed as a carpenter in various companies before I ventured the step into self-employment as a family business.

The carpenter's craft with its proven, traditional solutions is especially close to my heart. This can result in a wide variety of innovative, sustainable products - all of which are unique. I have already implemented many of my own ideas. Also in our house in Windisch.

I am very well connected in the region and can therefore fall back on third parties if customers have wishes that I cannot fulfill in the wood workshop.

For me, being part of a network also means making a social contribution myself. Because I have long experience in the field of vocational integration and training, I am able to offer internships for young professionals with mental health problems. Wood workshop

In the small but fine wood workshop of Gerber und Deck in Turgi, unique furniture and interior fittings are created from solid wood. I create individual dream furniture according to your ideas: solid tables, cabinets, beds that last a lifetime; front doors and built-in furnishings that last for generations.

You will receive prudent advice and I will help you formulate your ideas. I will show you how to realize, produce and assemble what you want.

Together we will choose the wood. From this, thanks to rock-solid carpentry craftsmanship tradition, an innovative unique piece is created.

As a customer, you can experience the design of your idea up close. You get an insight into the production and can experience with all your senses in the wood workshop how your dream takes shape.

All products of the Gerber and Deck wood workshop - pieces of furniture, interior fittings and custom-made products - are individually designed, planned, developed and manufactured from scratch.

The quality of the finished product is of great concern to me. I guarantee it thanks to my love for wood and traditional craftsmanship, thanks to many years of experience in the production of custom-made products and thanks to my pleasure in working with customers.
