Our history from our beginnings in 1902 to today

Our glassworks was founded in 1902 by Enrico Beffa and began its activity with the processing of plain glass products for wood-framed windows, general window frames and artificial windows. Since we developed a new system in 1972 to replace plain glass panes with insulating glass, we have also been working on insulating glass.

In 1986 our company grew and we built a new 2000 m2 building. Since 2001, after obtaining ISO 9001:2015 certification, we have also been processing flat glass with the most modern machinery.

Today we are the official representatives for Canton Ticino of the world leading Dorma Group. Moreover, our company is still family-owned after more than a century of history. Our work is characterized by the expertise of the technical department and our skilled workers.

Precision, speed and transparency are the values we provide to our customers. In addition, we also strive to train apprentices.

We specialize in all glass products in the field of furniture and architecture, as well as associated services such as consulting, delivery and installation. Private clients, architectural firms, companies or public service providers can count on our competent cooperation. Together we evaluate the ideal solution for the customer in the residential, industrial and commercial sectors.

From the assembly of simple glass and insulating glass windows to the execution of glass furniture, from the creation of glass parapets to the execution of architectural components: we work exclusively on a custom basis. This allows us to meet the personal needs of our clients.

We accompany our clients at every stage of the project, from the initial idea to the design, from the beginning of the work to the assembly, and we guarantee our support even after the work is completed. Upon request, we can also take care of repair and renovation work on all glass products.
