Founded from scratch in 1982, Sottas SA in Bulle has grown according to a harmonious program and today represents the very best in metal construction. Founder Bernard Sottas handed over the reins in 2010 to his daughter Laure Sottas Solenghi and son-in-law Nadir Solenghi. He drew on his training as a mechanical engineer to create a work tool adapted to today's requirements: ultra-modern machinery, IT network, logistics and control of the entire manufacturing process to ensure quality, reliability and performance in the service of customers. The production chain ranges from locksmithing to large-scale metal framing, including extremely complex parts, and covers the entire structure and envelope of a building: high-tech glass and metal facades for large buildings.

In October 2020, the company acquires a new branch in Denges, in the canton of Vaud. This new site, between Lausanne and Morges, covers some 30,000 m2 and strengthens the technical staff, exceeding the 400-employee mark.

We also attach great importance to professional training. To ensure that our expertise in metal construction is passed on from generation to generation, we are a partner of the Ecole romande du Métal in Bulle. The school trains young people as metal fabricators and draughtsmen.
