May & Joris SA (Lourtier VS)

Initially set up in 1982 by Pierre-Yves May and Louis Filliez, known as 'PICASSO', Mr. Joris joined the team in 1987, and Société May & Joris was founded in Lourtier, near Verbier in the Val de Bagnes. A few years later, Mr. Filliez retired, followed by Mr. Joris in 2001.

Finally, in 2005, 2 of the company's employees, Mr. Cédric Maret and Mr. Christophe Bruchez, became shareholders in the company.

Our company specializes in the complete and partial renovation of buildings. We are equipped with a CNC machine for complex work. We can also produce customized engravings for you. The construction of timber-frame villas and sheds is one of our specialties.

We build all kinds of wooden structures, including ..:

• landing and communal doors

Building on this long experience, we train apprentices in carpentry and are proud to pass on our knowledge to future generations.

What's more, in 2013 we decided to install solar panels on the roofs of our various premises, to produce as much energy as we consume.

What's more, all wood waste is processed in-house and reused as heating fuel.
