Traditionally, the use of domestic wood is carried out according to the guidelines of sustainable forestry, i.e. only as much raw material is harvested as can grow back. In the Swiss forest, more wood is currently growing back than is being utilized. There is therefore still potential for more intensive processing of this environmentally friendly material.
