Entreprise forestière Daniel Ruch SA (Carrouge VD)

Founded in 1984 by Daniel and Corinne Ruch, our company is now the largest forestry contractor in French-speaking Switzerland. In 2013, the company became a public limited company.

Our range of services extends from the simple pruning of a small tree in a private garden, to the clearing of a forest site and its biological stabilization following a natural disaster.

We also train forestry apprentices every year.

Thanks to modern, high-performance equipment (around 20 heavy machines, 2 trucks, a dozen vehicles and more than 50 chainsaws), our workforce of around 40 employees harvest between 40,000 and 60,000 m3 of wood every year. We have our own mechanical workshop to ensure that all our equipment runs smoothly under all circumstances.
