Corabois SA (Vernier)

In 1939,

CORABOIS was originally a sawmill that impregnated electricity poles and manufactured floor pavers for delivery throughout Switzerland. This sawing and impregnation activity began to decline in the 1960s, so my predecessor, Mr Paul BINGGELI, who ran the company until 1986, had to find other outlets and began to develop a solid wood trading business.

In 1980, the wood impregnation plant took off again, becoming CORABOIS SA when it was taken over by the BALTESCHWILER Group.

In 1986, Mr. BINGGELI retired and was replaced by your current servant Mr. Alain TRUCHET, who expanded the solid wood business to include cross-laminated timber, agglomerates and derivatives of all kinds. CORABOIS, which today employs 40 people, has considerably increased its trading capacity, thanks to its new Vernier site.

Delivery service

In principle, deliveries are made to the cantons of Geneva and Vaud.

A horizontal Schelling panel saw, an edger and a 4-sided planer for framing, joists and solid wood, according to your needs.
