On November 25, 1971 - Theres and Fritz Bruderer opened the "Oberwynentaler Teppichhaus" in the premises of the former Konsumbäckerei on the main street. It was a relatively small establishment. It soon became apparent that Fritz Bruderer's decision to open his own business was the right one. Teppich Bruderer" quickly gained the trust of customers far beyond the village borders. Not only could a well-balanced collection be shown to interested parties, but most of the carpets could also be cut from the roll and given away or laid by the store. When in 1976 Coop needed the rented premises itself, Fritz Bruderer was forced to look for another location. Since neither in Menziken nor in Reinach, he decided to construct his own building. He found the necessary land in Kirchenbreitenstrasse in Reinach.

In 2009 the owner couple Bruderer decided to retire and looked for suitable successors. The company Teppich Bruderer went into the ownership of the company Christoph Stirnimann AG.

Laminate Laminate floors can look like parquet. However, only the backing layer is made of the raw material wood. The visible top layer is made of a special composite material, whose properties open up unimagined application possibilities. Due to the above-mentioned special properties, laminate floors are suitable not only for use in residential areas, but especially for zones with above-average stress such as restaurants, sales areas, offices, surgeries, etc.

Parquet Parquet is the only floor covering that can be renovated as good as new if the protective surface has worn through after decades. This is even more true for fully glued parquet with a thick real wood running layer, which can still be enjoyed by your grandchildren's generation. By sanding or resealing/oiling, you get a floor that is visually as good as new, and you can repeat this renovation several times, depending on the thickness of the top layer, because parquet has many lives.

Linoleum Many people are still aware that cork is obtained from the bark of the cork oak. But many do not know that linoleum is also a natural material. The basis for linoleum is natural linseed oil. It is obtained from the seeds of the flax plant. The linseed oil is converted into linseed oil varnish by adding oxygen. Natural resins, limestone and wood flour are added. The mixture is heated rolled onto a carrier web of jute and then dried - a lot of nature and a truly ecological product!

Vinyl Resilient floors are made either entirely of durable, sturdy vinyl or of a vinyl backing layer applied to a wood fiberboard and cork layer. Vinyl floors allow excellent structuring of the surfaces. This creates authentic replicas of natural materials such as wood or stone.

Mineral trowelled flooring Every hand-surfaced cement floor is unique. Depending on the customer's wishes, almost all shades of the color scale can be achieved directly by adding pigments to the putty. The appearance can vary from sandy to slightly cloudy or wavy to a clearly visible trowel texture. With a putty floor, joints are a thing of the past!
