Wood or wood-metal windows?

This is the first question to ask when building or renovating your home. This choice is the starting point for high-quality materials with the same aim: to seal your windows against sound and heat.

Wood, which lost market share in the 60s simply because it rotted, is now back in the limelight. It has regained all its nobility thanks to the study of profiles, joints and, above all, factory finishing, enabling it to be completely insulated while still allowing it to breathe.
There are still windows from the 1900s in perfect condition, thanks to regular maintenance. This is where it differs from wood-metal windows: maintenance.

The "Rolls Royce" of windows is the NRB wood-metal type, which gives you the warmth of wood on the inside and a powder-coated aluminum cladding on the outside to resist weathering and UV rays. It's designed for constructions with large glazed elements, curtain walls (public buildings, special facades).

You'll also find the NF type wood-metal window, which has the same features as the NRB, but is designed more for houses or renovation. For both types of window, we can manufacture them in concealed-opening type M (Minergie). These are designed for sober construction without loss of light.
