Buchs Frères SA (La Côte-aux-Fées)

Founded in 1934 by Oscar and Robert Buchs in La Côte-aux-Fées, the company became a public limited company in 2005.

We currently employ around thirty workers and apprentices in carpentry, joinery and sawmilling.

Carpentry:

• Construction of timber-framed villas, facade cladding, Eternit and others. Agricultural sheds and roofing of all kinds. Velux windows, interior fittings (walls, ceiling, floor, parquet and insulation).

Joinery and carpentry:

• Specialized in the manufacture of windows and doors, wood/metal and PVC (Kömmerling system). Over the years, we have modernized our workshops to respond as quickly as possible to our private and professional customers. Regular joinery work such as renovation, cabinet making and kitchen fittings are among the company's specialties.

Sawmill:

• Equipped with a vertical band saw we are able to cut list frames, joinery trays, window squares, custom sawing, all of which can be kiln dried. In 2015, we acquired a press to produce different products (3-ply window frames, duo, construction timber, glued laminated timber that can be fixed with white glue or PU.

Our philosophy has never changed over the years. Our aim is to guarantee the highest quality, Swiss production at competitive prices.
