The Carpentry Shop Baccialegno

Baccialegno is a large carpentry company established in 2003, when Mr. Silvio decided to take over Bacciarini SA, a company founded in 1918, which after more than 80 years of operation the old ownership had decided to sell.

It was an act of passion; I wanted the company in which I had grown up to live on. I came into contact with the world of carpentry at the age of 12, just through an internship at Bacciarini, and then continued to work with them for many years.

Baccialegno was founded in 2003, but it actually has its roots in a 100-year history.

I chose to call my company "Baccialegno" precisely to emphasize continuity with a historic company in the Bellinzona area that saw me grow up and allowed me to learn everything I know about this trade.

Baccialegno uses only local labor and suppliers and tries, as much as possible, to encourage the development of activities in the area, contributing, for example, to the sponsorship of the A.C Sementina soccer team and funding other charitable activities.

The initial phase of a project, of any kind, is very important. Our company, thanks to its experience, guarantees qualified advice from the very beginning to choose the materials, techniques and solutions best suited to each context and need.

Design

We take care of the design of furniture and environments of all types, pandering to and satisfying all the needs of our clients, both in terms of materials and the techniques to be used. The design phase can be developed along two lines:

• We can develop a project from the indications of a private client, trying to realize his ideas and wishes and advising him based on our decades of experience.
• Or we can develop a project in close cooperation with an architect, trying to indulge and satisfy all his directions and requests.
