Arbellay & Fils Menuiserie SA (Granges VS)

Historical background. On October 1, 1985, Dominique Arbellay founded his company in Erdesson/Grône. His workshop measured just 64 m2. It was here that he forged his reputation as a serious and skilled craftsman.

On the plains. In 1991, to cope with the ever-increasing number of orders, he built a workshop at Le Chablé in Granges, near Sierre. It is here, in the heart of the Rhône plain, that he continues his activities.

Transfer. On January 1, 2009, the company became a public limited company, now called "Arbellay Dominique Menuiserie SA, Granges".

A challenge. On June 6, 2009, a fire destroyed the entire workshop and machinery. The company won't give up! Reconstruction will take eleven months, during which it will relocate its activities. Then, on May 3, 2010, it started up again in a brand-new workshop. The new facility was inaugurated on Saturday, November 6, 2010, marking the company's 25th anniversary.

Services. While the company's origins lie in the restoration and manufacture of made-to-measure furniture, today it has diversified its activities into the manufacture of joinery, doors, wardrobes, general carpentry, laminating, the installation of PVC doors and windows, the fitting out of villas and chalets, general cabinet-making, etc. Staircases in all their forms remain its specialty. It designs, manufactures and installs these products throughout French-speaking Switzerland.
