Davide completed his apprenticeship as a carpenter at the firm Kost Holzbau AG in Küssnacht am Rigi (SZ). In 1986 he joined his father's firm as a journeyman, and after four years he joined the firm's management, gaining technical and administrative deputy management in 1995. On January 1, 1999, Davide, became the firm's general manager in his own right.

Seeking to follow in his father's footsteps, he continues to improve the quality of his work with new investments in new technologies and increasingly skilled labor. At the same time, he goes in search of new market niches and begins with small operations as a general contractor, always aiming to better serve his customers.

At the beginning of 2003 he resumes contact with the company Kost Holzbau AG, which specializes in prefabrication of wooden houses, establishing close cooperation. As of January 1, 2004, it became the official representative for Ticino of Kost Holzbau AG in an effort to further improve the offering for its clientele.
