About us

Atelier Manus is a foundation for the promotion of professional and social integration of people with disabilities.

The foundation promotes the quality of life of different people by offering a wide range of training and work opportunities and by taking measures to integrate them into society. Manus comes from the Latin and means hand. Manus is for us the symbol for: Craft, Help, Protection, Work. We are a service company with 10 departments and 150 employees. We know the demands of the time and meet them: flexible, expeditious, goal-oriented, cost-effective.

Over the years, we have built up a wealth of experience and a broad network. We offer this to the disability insurance, SUVA, socio-medical centers and other interested parties. Bookbinding and framing

In our bookbinding and framing department, we offer a wide variety of high-quality products and services to private individuals and businesses.
Fabric, leather or vellum binding, photo album, guest book, brochures and books, cardboard work, PUR adhesive binding, WIRO binding, calendars, finishing work such as cutting, creasing, perforating, laminating, paper drilling, eyeletting and punching, hot foil stamping, double-sided lamination, stenter frames, bevel-cut passepartouts. Mounting images, photos, plots or posters, custom cards and digitizing work.

Garden maintenance

We take care, you enjoy! Under the guidance of competent professionals, your garden is in the best hands with us.

We look after and manage private, public and company properties. Because you can't do without care: flowers and plants need the right, professional handling to develop in full splendor and stay healthy. We mow, fertilize, scarify and renovate your lawn. We trim plants, hedges, roses and trees. We plant containers and raised beds and replace plants in existing plants. We mill the garden, remove weeds, loosen the soil, set up the vegetable garden, arbors, clean and maintain all plants and slopes in your facility. We also maintain your indoor greenery and hydro plants. Of course, we also provide general pest control (biological whenever possible). Spring, summer, autumn and winter, for every season our garden team is the right choice for you and your garden.

Wood sculpting

From simple notch cuts to elaborate sculptures. We carve to your specific needs.
Coats of arms, organ grilles, clocks, sports awards, gifts of all kinds.

Human and animal figures, sacred figures in relief or 3D tombs, grave crosses and urns, wickerwork items such as baskets and hats in various sizes, plastic casting and model production for serial productions, engraving and decoupage work of all kinds with laser on wood, paper, plexiglass and glass, as well as broom production.

Wine boxes in various shapes, traditional hat boxes, tool boxes for all professions, measuring boxes with appropriate divisions, gifts, wooden toys, butilles, wine coolers, wooden vessels, repair of old wooden vessels with wooden tires, blueberry collectors (Heitusträl), cheese slicer, sausage slicer, pepper mills, chair and table legs, fruit bowls, balusters and rungs, cheese rondels with glass top and even more according to your individual wishes.

Joinery

Skilled craftsmanship, creative, good design. What leaves our carpentry workshops meets high standards.
Room doors, cellar closets, pallet and pallet furniture, disposable pallets, packing boxes, border posts, sauna construction, furniture pieces according to your individual wishes, garden tables and benches made of larch wood to measure, cheese ladders, fly cabinets, wine racks and shelves, repair, restore and treat old furniture.

Assembly

Whether electronic or mechanical, we carry out your orders rationally and guarantee a flawless and timely execution.

Assembly of serial parts and complete devices. Modification of devices. Preparation of electrical and mechanical components.

Especially popular are our colorful hand and kitchen towels and practical "chuchi" sets.

We also design and weave for you placemats, table runners, tablecloths, napkins, carpets in various sizes and qualities, baby slings in various colors and lengths, traditional costume fabrics and Drilch fabrics for traditional ladies' and men's clothing, upholstery fabrics, e.g. for corner bench cushions or deck chairs. From our hand-woven yard fabrics we sew Chriesi bags and grape seed pillows, potato warmers, bread bags, aprons, pot holders, pillows, meditation stools and much more. In our sewing studio we make seat cushions for garden or church pews and much more from industrially produced fabrics!
