Restoration, renovation, extension or modification of old buildings... the trend is upwards, whether as a result of the LAT, a legal obligation (listed building) or a personal choice. But for a renovation to be beautiful, successful and satisfying, nothing beats old-fashioned craftsmanship.

And that's precisely what I can offer today. In a resolutely voluntary approach, I take the time to discover, approach and valorize wood. Rediscovering a meaning that mechanized processes have gradually lost, I guarantee quality and aesthetics at the same time. And, perhaps most surprising of all, at a price comparable to that of modern processes.

Every gesture is carefully considered, from the choice of wood in the sawmill - sometimes even the choice of tree to fell and the time of felling - to the installation of the finished piece. I cut, saw, plane, hollow out, dowel, assemble... in constant contact with the wood; I take it in hand, I feel it, I shape it, with the concrete concern of satisfying my customer.

If I clearly display my taste and skills for old-fashioned work, it's also because I've mastered modern techniques. Like all my colleagues, I've learned them. Like few of them, I've extended them to include old-fashioned techniques. But you need a carpenter for a modern construction? Here too, I'm your man, and what I can't do with my own tools, my CNC-equipped associates can.
